Just got finished making my brackets for the york. Also welded a pulley on the front of the water pump. Plumbed the intake to the air cleaner. Yes I ditched the PAIR valve. Just not enough room for everything. Next is wiring and plumbing. Have a 7 gallon tank going under the rear. So far so good. Also, just a little plug for C-Dan. Thanks for the new gas struts for the rear hatch. If anyone needs these, call Dan!

ooooh aaaah, send more info.

Two weeks ago I got reminded why air on the trail is important. Wheeled with some jeep weenees that talked my buddy into airing down for a rough section then loaded their trailer queen and left him to drive to town on 15lbs.

I had a york setup on Heep Cherokee years ago and I really miss it. You can run any air tools off it if you have it revved up a bit. Next up is a hand throttle so I can control thr RPMs for this and the on-board welder that is soon to come. If anyone needs help with brackets, let me know.

Very cool, nice install. I am interested in the brackets. Any help would be great. I bet if you made them, people around here would line up to buy them.

Thanks:beer:

The only down side to my setup is most peole will not want to remove the PAIR valve. I didn't see a way around this. If anyone is interested in the brackets, I can make some more.

I will buy a set in a heart beat! Please PM me

What pulley are you going to use for the belt?

Thanks

I used a 5.5" pulley from a power steering pump. No idea what it was from. I cut the center out with a 4" hole saw and welded it to my water pump pulley. It runs straight and true. I'll pm later tonight.

Yeah, that valve went away for 95+, so I'm sure there's a market out there for the brackets. Unfortunately my wife doesn't see the need for OBA on her grocery getter. Boy, just wait 'till I wreck my '94...

I too would be interested in the bracket and pulley information. Even the dimensions on the bracket would be fine and we could all make our own at home.

My york was from a junk Ford truck. I rebuilt it myself and did some oiling mods. Real easy stuff. I'll post some good info on the yorks in a couple of days. Out of town for the weekend. Thanks for all the interest in the bracket. Back at ya monday!

JK, that is correct. Model 210L. It put out a lot more air than the others. Easy to find at the local junk yard. I did take mine apart and clean it. The clutch bearing was froze up. I soaked it in PB Blaster for 3 days then greased it. Runs smooth. The local auto parts wanted $56.00 for the bearing! Usually the clutches are not bad, they just need to be taken apart and cleaned.

Yeah, I've got a 210L sitting in the garage waiting for a bracket to be fab'ed up.

How are you going to size the vbelt?

Run a piece of string around the 2 pulleys and that will give you the lenght.
