Just found the inboard O2 sensor wire rubbing on drive shaft. Took it all apart and fixed. We will see if this is it. Thanks all for the advice!!!

    EFI Fuse problem

I am having the same issue with my EFI 15 amp fuse blowing. Happened last week on Friday and again today. Class3bko, where was the above burnt wire located?

    Break issues

There is also the LSPV that usually gets ignored (need to make sure you bleed it also). I just had to change out my brake booster (pedal took both feet to press). After that all has been good.

1994 with bad stumbling idle *** SOLVED = NEW O2 SENSORS... so far

The moral to this story is I have been putting off a ton of PM. The damn vehicle just keeps starting and taking me where I want to go... the proverbial "squeaky wheel" it has never been. I plan to change that this year as most of the PM I have done is going on 12 years now. As cruiserdan so...

1994 with bad stumbling idle *** SOLVED = NEW O2 SENSORS... so far

Thanks for the info on the reader. I will track that down as the LC will remain in the family (my son gets it when I am done = dead).

1994 with bad stumbling idle *** SOLVED = NEW O2 SENSORS... so far

Also, he said that the connector for the outboard O2 sensor had green corrosion in it (have had heavy rains lately). Wanted to mention that since Red Merle posted about car wash...

1994 with bad stumbling idle *** SOLVED = NEW O2 SENSORS... so far

So last night my son and I were only able to get the inboard O2 sensor off as the outboard sensor nuts were rounded off (a sign the O2 sensors might have been changed before I got it in 2005 with 180,000 miles). This morning his boss (the scoutmaster for the Boy Scout troop we are in) started...

Thanks for the info! We have inspected all hoses but I will recommend a smoke test if son can't find anything. Thanks again!

1994 with bad stumbling idle *** SOLVED = NEW O2 SENSORS... so far

Spent the last couple of days reading threads about the issue and most never provided an outcome. Here is my situation and I promise to provide a definitive fix if possible. -1994 LC -280,000 miles -Wires, cap, rotor changed at 194,000 (way too long but impressive what OEM can do) -Spark plugs...

My fix for the ever-elusive hatch struts

You have to cut the old struts (around the ball ends) to reuse them. Let me know if you need more info on that as I just had to deal with it. I also had to bend the factory brackets “keeper” finger/hooks to make them fit. Otherwise the hood wouldn’t close all the way with out buckling.

McMaster Carr part#'s - hood/hatch struts and nuts

Do you have a picture of the drilled new guide holes for the hood struts? I am expecting both hood and liftgate struts to arrive today (already replaced OEM liftgate with McMaster Carr struts years ago but they have started to sag a bit). Thanks! Riley

Separating and reassembling the birfield and inner axle assemblies

I am looking for the pictures but the computer I had then died. I will see what I can find. What in particular are you looking for?

    Intake hose

This was all me. I am the only one to do anything on the LC. The rest of the hose is in great shape, just split at the ribbing portion when I forced the lid up to swap filters. I take full responsibility for this that is why $110 is a pretty cheap reminder to follow the rules.

    Intake hose

Happened while doing an oil change in my garage so very good timing for it to fail. I just need to make sure I disconnect before changing filter!!!
