Thanks for reminding me about this PTO thread. Re-reading it, there is a fantastic level of documentation far beyond what the manufacturer ever provided. My hat is off to Storno for a job very well done !
Don't have the answer for stamped bezel production dates, but looks like early part number was FJ40 52121, and in 1964 it changed to 53111-60010 thru Jan 1979. The Jan 1964 serial frame number starts FJ40~22692, so before that. Hope this narrows it down a bit. @JohnnyC might be able to help.
