Hi
I’m clearing out the last of my Landcruiser bits. I have a pair of rust free rear doors for a 7x series. Hinges and other hardware are not included. The doors are in excellent condition and would be perfect for a restoration or modification so that you can run with the top off your 73/74...
a couple of things that I forgot
Thanks to everyone who has sent me messages regarding my 74. I have noticed that I have repeated a couple of things in my emails that maybe I should post here. I have been asked a number of times for pictures of the interior of the truck. Therefore, I have...
I’m selling my '89 74-series, which I have owned for the past 3 years. It was imported by Outback Imports, and has been a problem-free daily driver since I purchased it. The body and interior are both in excellent condition (no rust, and nominal interior wear), and there are no mechanical...
I have the original wheels and tires from my 89 BJ74 sitting in the shed. I posted them on the sale page; however, I have not received a single reply. I'll let them go for any reasonable offer ... or interesting trade (i'm looking for a stock steering wheel, a head rest, or the step panels for...
Hey
I have recently installed a kit into my clutch master, and just wanted to let those Canadian BJ74 owners know that the clutch master kit for an 87 BJ70 is identical to the 89 BJ74. The part number is as follows:
04311-60042
For your information
Well, I think that i'm going to go with the rebuild kit. The part number is 04311-60042. Before I order it, does anyone know if this kit will work for the 89 74 series (the part number is for 70 series to 07/87)
Thanks again
Mike
Hi Louis
You were correct in your original post, the tires are 33s. (Trxus MTs) I ordered them through Van & Truck World here in Kingston. Not my first choice of places to get tires; however, there are not many of options in here.

Hello
I have 5 OEM wheels for sale. They are aluminium alloy, in good condition, fitted with Yokohama Geolander A/Ts (31X10.5). The wheels are oxidized a bit; however, they can be cleaned-up very easily.
These are the wheels that came with my BJ74, they are 15X7 with 0 offset (3.5"...

I had a set of Trxus MTs on my 77 FJ40. I put about 30K km on them prior to selling the truck. There was still lots of tread left. I must admit, they are not as good in the mud as my old Swampers; however, they are very good on the trail, quiet on the highway, and excellent in the snow...
I've attached a before pic (those wheels are for sale - by the way).
Moose - you are absolutely correct. I am going to keep the mud flaps; however, I still don't like the running boards. I think i'll see what it looks like with them off.
Stone - those are Interco Trxus MTs. IMO the best...
My intention was to modernize the look of my 74. So, I removed the stripes, colour-matched the top to the rest of the truck, and painted all the chrome in a satin black. I think that it looks pretty good; however, there are a couple of lessons learned here. I now understand why Toyota paints the...
Ohhh …. Mousemilk … not Moosemilk …. Well, that’s my Freudian-slip for today. Just like me to think about Booze when I should be thinking about penetrating oil.

I'm no expert either ... and this my first turbo; so, in an effort to get to know my turbo I have followed the directions in my repair manual regarding how to check whether its functioning properly or not. One of the function tests involved checking the operation of the wastegate valve by...
Hi
Just checking out the turbo on my 13B-T, and found that the actuator/waste gate valve appear to be seized. (the part that is indicated by the screw driver in the attached pic).
Any ideas on how to get this thing moving again?
Thanks
Mike
