My Orange Dream Turned to Cream.

Any updates since the last one? That thing is starting to look amazing, everything I wish I could have done to that. Looking back through the thread, those seats weren't my choice, the guy who snaked it from dad put those pieces of junk in, dad had the stock seats. Glad to see it went to a...

    *bump* update?

My Orange Dream Turned to Cream.

It looks faded red, I'll have to find my old scans from when I was planning on a build thread. It used to be my dad's rig when I was young. It is a nice burnt-orange but the paint was so neglected that you just can't tell anymore. Apparently it was originally the factory cream color anyway...

My Orange Dream Turned to Cream.

Thanks again for buying, was a pleasure and would gladly do business with you in the future  Did you make it home safe? Also, to the comments about the various items: Suspension and drivetrain were 100% stock minus a shackle lift my dad put on it sometime in the late 80's or early...

My new toy "Orange ya glad?"

Thanks guys, it's ok, this particular cruiser held mostly sentimental value and I would have felt too compeled not to mod it. So my next rig (when I'm done with school and such) will be able to be modded how I want and be my own memories, the reason for having that one has long since passed.

My new toy "Orange ya glad?"

Money and time, I'd rather get it sold to a cruiserhead so that they don't take it in the bankruptcy and sell it to a scrapyard or some random idiot

    New addition to the herd

Got most of the vacuum lines run yesterday although I've got one that needs a replacement VTV, one where I either need to replace the BVSV or route around it (for EGR) and two where I'm just not sure if/where they go. I will post pics as soon as I can since I'm not where I've got access to my...

    New addition to the herd

And we're back on track finally. Got the new radiator dropped in and buttoned up. Drove it across town and back and it got warm, too hot to touch even, and wasn't leaking anywhere :bounce::bounce: Going to pull the steering wheel, drop in the horn plate and then maybe try to get the mixture...

Fuel leak on carb, what is it and how easy is it to fix?

Thanks, I'll have to grab another one of those and extract the guts properly at some point but my QuickSteel fix is working for now. One of the problems I have is a lack of tools, let alone cash to buy them, so I wasn't sure how to actually extract the brass part holding the guts in without...

    New addition to the herd

Going to replace, the brazing managed to pop 3 more leaks in the damn thing :bang:, There's a member here on mud who is parting/parted out a bunch of FJ60's and happens to have a good radiator lying around still so I'm picking that up on Tues when I have cash again. probably not doing...
