I should have the new TRS x.bar soon and I'll post a comparison on it vs. the Rigid, Baja Designs and eBay bars I'm running. I'm excited since the price is great and they're running 5000k LEDs which make a HUGE difference over the Rigid and knock-off bars in terms of usable light.
I used a c-channel with square nuts on my Rigid as seen in my picture below. For the mount to the truck itself, I used a stainless allen head screw and drilled the center out. With a lock washer, it tightened up nicely from the backside where no one can get to it easily.
Planning on taking a half day at work and heading down to URE this Friday the 13th to squeeze in a last run of the season. Just planning to go til dark and head home after that. It'll be a slow run since I'll have a new 2014 FJC with me as well, but the weather looks nice. Anyone wanna join us?
If anyone cares to join me, I'm planning on heading for a quick run this Friday the 13th. Probably get down around lunch and go til dark before heading home. It'll probably be a slow run since I'll have a brand new 2014 FJ with me as well (sister's BF just bought it this past weekend), but the...
You'd likely have a code if the sensor had a problem. I'd look at cleaning the throttle body though since gunk can build up around the butterfly and give some hesitation. I'd also check the vacuum hoses.
^^Did you mean to have a second link?
I'm still running an old 14" Hitachi that's still going strong after thousands of cuts. Having said that, that bandsaw looks pretty friggin' handy.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue, but I've found it's just an issue with the Rigid Dually lights on the rear. None of my other LEDs are a problem. Post up what you figure out.
Honestly, I don't remember. I know the seat cover is in place and tightl, but it's been a year since I installed it and didn't take pictures. It's hard to surprise your wife with heated seats if you don't rush (I'm pretty sure she would've wondered why the seats were out and naked had she come...
Nope, no holes. I actually folded the element down into the seat where that metal bar crosses so that I didn't have to do any holes (assuming I'm thinking of the same location as you are). In the end, the seat bottom did something like this: ---------\*/--------- The flat parts being the...
A tip I learned: You know where the metal bar runs across the middle of the seat cushion? I ran the heating pad all the way down that crevasse and back up the other side with the rest being flat. It was pretty easy after I cut all the rings out. When reattaching, I used nylon zip ties and...
Yes, it's wonderful! I put the switches in the center console as shown in the picture below. This is the kit I used:

There's no such thing as too much light, but that's dangerous logic right there. Trust me, I know, it's expensive logic sometimes too. Why settle for a 60" TV? Why settle for 35" tires? Why settle for 40,000 lumens on the front of your truck? :)
