Looking for a reliable supplier for a refurbished brake pump assembly. My motor is out. Willing to buy the part outright or have someone refurbish my part. Will consider OEM replacement if the price is right. Located in Yakima WA in case you’re local :)
I also have an additional non working...
I got a refurbed brake pump assembly to fix my total brake failure and it doesn’t work. The breaker says it may be because it’s from a Lexus and mine is a Toyota. They are assuring me they had this thing rebuilt. The parts look identical to me. Is there a detail my mechanic possibly missed or...
The brakes I think were coincidental. After flushing the brake fluid the ABS is fine.
I'm left with these codes
0300
0302
0305
1305
I think I'm going to re-check my work. Check spark plug gaps, connections, and swap coil packs.
I've never had the 1305 before.
The morning after an uneventful four hour drive I woke up to the ABS light and alert buzzer, along with the rough idle that usually accompanies a bad coil pack. I just changed the packs and spark plugs about a month ago due to what I thought was a bad couple of non-OEM packs.
The ABS failure...
Thanks! I'm going to use this guide to take it apart and check before I order the part. It's 7 degrees outside so I'll probably do it in 5 minute intervals haha.
Video attached for reference.
I hopped in tonight and tried to start up the 99. This is what happened. I found some threads about something similar in a Ford but not here.
Does anyone know if there is a way to start and drive it from this state? And do you know what's likely wrong and the...
Had an engine sputter and CEL. All the shops and mechanics in this town are stubborn guardians of diagnostic tools, and there is no Autozone. I tried the spark plugs first, then later borrowed a reader and replaced a coil pack and it's all good.
I need to get my own OBD2 reader.
Also, I paid...
Thanks! I replaced the spark plugs first and had no idea where to go from there. Code read cylinder 4 misfire. Replaced the coil pack and we're good! I am broke as hell at the moment so this thread and this article saved my skin this month.
I want an affordable set of FSM's for my 99. I can never seem to find a good deal on exactly that year, will I be missing something critical if I get a 98, or 00' and up? I pretty much just need them for routine maintenance and reference. Thanks
Listed in my neighborhood, sounds like this guy is having a heck of time getting rid of this thing if anyone is interested.

I got the WKOR sliders last month and just opened them up, I have the hardware but no instructions wrapped up in the cellophane. Looking at the U shaped bolts it seems pretty straightforward. Is there anything I should be aware of? Thanks!
I learned that concept Advertising 101 (actually a persuasive writing class). Is it heavier, unwieldy, awkward, and more expensive than something that works just fine? Yeah. But does having one somehow make you better than people without one? F:censor:K yeah!
(not knocking the fact that you...
Glad I did a search, I had the exact same question. I have a 3 man tent that sleeps two and plenty of gear, e-z setup even in rain, reasonable set up in high winds with experience. I am also in the PNW but I am pretty confident the high tub will keep water out. It packs down to the smaller than...
My current goal with this truck is to take the kids up to Top of The World, Moab on the way to visit Grampa this Summer. I'd like to have a winch and front bumper on before then.
