Unfortunately its time for me to sell the Cruiser. I just picked up a Civic for Daily driver duties so I have no need to keep the cruiser. Has around 180k miles and runs strong. Sitting on 315/75/16 MTs with good tread left. Truck is grey leather. Drivers seat replaced w/ Lexus sc300 seat...
are you trying to run the stock twins or a single? I think stock twins would be too small... actually anything less than say a t61 would probably be too small, but it would be cool to see. I say go for it. But keep in mind theres fuel control to deal with and that can get pricey.
Im planning swapping seats in the next couple weeks to some extra Lexus sc seats I have in the garage. The power plug matches up so I'll still have full function and I'm going to have the local exhaust shop do the welding after I chop off the mounts from the existing seats. I'll take some...
I would look into getting a local shop to fab up a log style manifold for you and then piecing the rest together shouldnt be to difficult. At least I would assume that would be the most cost effective route if youre looking to stay low boost/low cost
I vote tan. I think you're truck will look sweet with that color combo and maybe darker wheels... I wish I had picked up an lx instead of a LC... Such nice factory colors.
It was damn near submerged. Weird thing is that the solenoid box never touched mud. I thought it might have been the controller so I pulled it apart and everything was clean inside. I rewired the whole thing trying to get it working again with no luck. I'd like to know if there's anything I can...
pulled myself out of this mess last weekend
then returned the winch today for a replacement because it stopped working last night in the middle of respooling... Harbor Freight:doh:
Update: I used the 12k winch last weekend to pull myself out of a clay/mud hole up past my doors and it worked great... Last night it stopped working in the middle of respooling the line and I was left with 50ft or so of line to tie down to my roof so I could get home. The good news is that I...
would've liked to but we had a few girls with us that unfortunately have my by buddies by the b**** at all times and they wanted to be on their schedule. I had a blast up there and plan on being back sometime during spring semester though and it would be cool to go out wheeling with some other...
Tuscaloosa AL weekend
For starters, I saw a really nice 80 in Tuscaloosa when I was up for the Miss St. game this weekend, it was dark green with some 315's and looked really clean. If thats anyone on here, nice truck!
After the festivities on friday and saturday we got a group out and went...
I just paid $33 for a new driver door handle assembly from autopartswarehouse.com but they sent me one from a camry instead. I'll update when I get the right part as the price is pretty good.
Update:
I just got done with my winch install and I love it so far! Everything is from Harbor Freight which I was ok with considering I only spent $330 total ($30 of this was the cost of the drill bit I ended up having to buy to get the mount to fit correctly.). I picked up the mount and got...
When It rains all the water collected in the sunroof drains into the cab from the sun visor mounts... It's safe to assume my drain hoses aren't hooked up anymore?
Managed to get my 80 stuck for the first time and spent 3 hours getting her out, ordered a 12k winch, ordered HIDs, and installed the winch plate:
just waiting on the winch to show up and getting stuck shouldnt be a big issue anymore. Also, started selling off old car parts around...
On the cruiserparts website they show the 4" springs and the 6" springs but no 2". There is a set of springs that doesnt have any lift measurement at all and I'm wondering if this is the 2" lift or are they just stock replacements?
Any help would be appreciated.
