Alt/Brake/AT Oil Temp Lites come on at idle?? Help please.

1990 FJ62.....At idle all 3 lights come on accompanied by an underdash buzzer sound. Slight increase in rpms and they all go off. Alt? Belt? Any ideas? Haven't checked yet, thought I'd throw it out for ideas. Thanks!

FOR SALE-FJ62 Center Consoles for sale..Grey and Brown

    (2) FJ62 center consoles. One grey, and one brown. The grey console has no lid and the hinge area would have to be repaired. A couple of the screw holes have cracks but work fine if you use a washer. Also, its missing the rear heater panel. Has all 4 coin inserts. Has cup holder...

    FJ62 center console

Not sure what the cosshatch piece you're referring to? The console comes pretty much down to the carpet in the back. I'll see if I can get a picture. Thanks

    FJ62 center console

Just bought a stock console for my 90 FJ62, I notice there are no openings for the air from the rear heater to exit. The original console looks like the bottom couple of inches were cut off (making it shorter but allowing the air to exit) Do I need to chop up my new console?? Thanks.

    FJ62 Steering wheel emblem missing?

My FJ62 has a small rectangular (about 1/2"x2") "spot"on the steering wheel hub, that looks like something is missing, maybe a TOYOTA emblem?? Am I missing that emblem? Thanks.

Difference between 60 and 62 consoles?

Whats the difference? I have a new 62 that has a gray interior, but PO had installed a brown console. He included a gray console with the sale. Is there a difference between a 60 and 62 center consoles? The installed brown one has the little coin holders broken out or removed, and no rear...

    62 reverse light???

Could be the neutral/safety switch. If like most other vehicles, the switch controls a variety of functions, like being able to start in only Park or Neutral, turning on backup lights only in reverse, etc. The switch (in other vehicles) is mounted inside the console at the base of the shifter...

Bought a FJ62! Pictures and a couple of questions...

The guy wanted $7900, didnt know really what he had. Had only owned for about 6 months. He owns a small construction company and I think the economy is taking its toll. Needs A/C compressor and a handful of little things, and a set of tires soon. But it looks to be pretty much original (has...

Alaska trip thread - Here goes!

Sounds like a great trip. Several years ago my son and flew to Anchorage and picked up a Land Rover Defender D90. Drove it back to Seattle. Couple of suggestions.. Buy a copy of Mileposts...any travel bookstore or AAA will have it. It is THE definitive guide to the ALCan Highway. A MUST...
