Everything is original except maintenance items like brakes, coil packs, belts, water pump, etc. One front axle was replaced. Everything else is original...
361,XXX miles... One of my guys ran her to timbuktu and back... every week. Need to decide if I want to sell it or just hang on to it for a second car beater. My original goal was 500,000.
So I searched and found a bunch a good information but in light of trying get the most information out there I have one additional detail in my problem. I was out of town and have not had a chance to dig into this yet.
2000 Cruiser parked outside Thursday afternoon until Monday morning...
What color interior?
I need:
1. Two center caps for my wheels.
2. The little hook thing that holds the drivers carpet.
3. The center console insertable shelf thingy.
Thanks.
That is the cheapest and easiest but I like the look without running boards. Just exploring options...and trying to make all you rock crawlers think about the rest of us. :grinpimp:
Not having used a step slider myself, this is only from looking at pictures...it would appear the step sliders are much higher than the running boards and closer to the vehicle...obviously by design. So I'm not sure how user friendly they are from a 60 year old woman client perspective.
I know I'll probably be flamed for this but hear me out...
I know there are more like me that love this forum but will never go crawling...maybe light expedition/overland but never crawling. It's considered a hill around here if it's 30 feet above sea level...plenty of sand/mud but no...
So as not to reinvent the wheel:

It currently needs a O2 sensor...and that's it as far as I know.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.
Just picked it up again last night. One of the pulleys (no, I don't know which one, the dealership was crazy busy) was not seated all the way. So it was slowly shredding the belt until it failed. I'll try to find out exactly which one.
They did pick-up the $450 rental truck bill. The only...
So, I drive the cruiser for a half a day...then load up my people, the trailer, etc. and start heading out on the 3 1/2 trip. 45 minutes later...tick, tick, tick...10 more miles and the battery light comes on, A/C goes and power steering goes. The serpentine belt literally shreds off taking...
Well, too late to the dealership to get the belt but the noise was the tensioner pulley. So out the door replacing the timing belt, water pump, tensioner pulley, seals, serpentine belt...all back together for $798. Not bad...didn't mean to hijack just an FYI.
FWIW: I have 120k on my 100 w/o replacing the TB. I bought it at about 79k and I guess it just slipped my mind. Anyway, after detailing it the other day, including spraying out the engine compartment, it's starting to whine a little. I used the hose in ear tool...seems to be coming from...
