Yep, you're right on point. Had mine done at the dealer in December @ around 234k miles....$2,250 or thereabouts, although I DID have him repace every hose at the same time, as well as belts, plugs, cap, etc....
Must actually be good for > 400 lbs, as I had 6 80-lb bags of QuikCrete(c) on mine.....pushing my luck

I'll post one up in the next day or two with the cover off......not much to look at though.
At any rate, after about three weeks, the CAI feels good mid-range. I think I'm actually noticing a 1-1.5 DECREASE in MPG, though. I also do not notice the 'whistle' others have mentioned.....

Didn't see a thread on this one, but I might have missed it. If so, I apologize.
After purchasing a 4R Trail (2010), it was just a matter of time before I started the mods, referencing the old '96 LX. First two mods were (1) Shrockworks sliders, and (2) the TRD Cold Air, started / finished...

OK...1st replacement of my thermostat after 240k miles or so, and I want y'all to verify something: Local dealership parts guy suggested to cut of the little movable 'pin' on the stat before installing it. True, or false?
I recall doing this on a GM product (but I don't remember why), and...
