Since we like to drive anomalies to closure, it would be very appreciated by myself and other pre16-URJ200 drivers to learn of the actual reserve capacity applied by Toyota and how many actual miles that translates to. I have tested and yielded ~45 miles and have read some of the others have...
Anything else that should be replaced other than this part list below?
Radiator (Newer URJ200s) 16400-50384
PCV Valve 12204-38010
Lower Radiator Hose 16572-38130
Upper Radiator Hose 16571-38080
Bypass hose 16282-0S030
That's exactly what makes this particular failure mode so critical, the end effect results in a catastrophic failure, and potentially an overheated/seized engine. And the failure has been occurring at 50k-150k, very wide variance.
I dont doubt the fitment, my concern/question has to do from an engineering and failure mode corrective action perspective. I guess we will know once we accrue 100k+ miles on the replacement and/or when someone reports a failure on the 16400-50384 radiator.
For the 2008 URJ200, it calls for the radiator PN 16400-50380. Are you ordering 16400-50384 because it's supposed to have the common radiator failure mode mitigated? Curious. Can someone confirm that it has been addressed and mitigated via re-design?
Anyone have an intermittent DVD player? It works when it wants to work, totally random, non-temp dependent, otherwise it says "No Disc" when you press it, when it clearly has DVDs loaded in it. It's quite fun with kids on long trips.
Anyone know a way to diagnose it? FSM method? I'm thinking...
If you're experiencing missing, I would be inclined to say that the IP is a major factor. If IP is working as it should and there is proper fuel delivery to the injectors, with lean/rich symptoms, then the injectors would need to be considered. Or, in your case, it could possibly be both the IP...
What is all this white residue? Is your rad cap failing? I think the residue is leaking coolant. It seems to be in the correct locked position. Have you tested with a new rad cap?
Not true, at least not for me, this is the only time I had to deal with such a thief/scammer. That is not what I experienced with Paypal. It was not immediate and they required all sorts of documentation and listened to both sides.
Paypal doesn't just pick a side by flipping a coin, they make a ruling after a thorough investigation. Those responsible for unethical business practices should be held liable, as is the case here.
This is the other side of the story.
