    BSVS 1

I thought i remembered reading something along those lines too, but i'll be damned if i can find it again. being as i live at the gulf coast, it doesnt take long for it to warm up nor is there any issue really with cold weather. anyone else have any input to this? thanks in advance. Jason82FJ60

    BSVS 1

After researching for a good bit I have determined that this valve makes the engine run smooth during the "warm up" phase. If this is true then: 1. how rough does it run without it? 2. if it isnt that bad running without it, how does one go about routing the vacuum lines to bypass it...

yup i can confirm this with gps and with a pacer car behind me. now this has a curve, and at higher speeds your actual speed increases. mine at 70 on the speedo i was actually doing 78 to 79 (kept going back and forth)

    Head Bolts

right on, i misread all the way around it seems. when you mentioned the TTY bolts i was under the impression that they were the only ones that were on the head that required replacing. i didnt know what they were called but i did know that aluminum head'd engines required bolt replacement when...

say i get headers for my 2F, and then swap my head for the 3F-E head so i can do the fuel injection, will 2F designed headers work on a 3F-E head? or would i have to get new headers?

    Head Bolts

not trying to start anything here and i may be wrong, but im pretty confident that craftsman or snap-on makes a quality tap. but they are probably higher in price. besides, everyone knows that the Germans are superior engineers :D;p:p but on a serious note and sorry for the hi-jack but...

    simple question simple answer

why do you think that? are you not getting fuel to the filter before the carb? if its like mine, you have a filter in line before the carb. mine is clear so i can see the fuel. you can disconnect the fuel line there and have someone bump the starter. if fuel squirts out the the pump is at...

Help - Carb rebuild & emissions already?

im no expert, but under normal circumstances i dont think you would need a rebuild already... however if more than usual dirt, water, or other debris got into your carb it is possible that it has gummed/trashed it out and would at least need a good cleaning. another scenario that would lend...

need to mount a flat, horizontal heat sink directly to the exhaust manifold. then place the wok on it. i am sure it gets hot enough for stir fry... if it dont at idle, simply rig a throttle control as a temp control. lol
