I precook mine in beer, brown sugar, cider vinegar, chili powder, cumin, mustard, red pepper and a pinch of salt. I boil all of the above and add the ribs to the pot for about an hour or so depending on the rib size.
from there I put them on the grill over low to med heat until they are...
I run the Man-a -fre 6 into one header with my PTO winch. I cut the collector off the header and rotated it to gain clearance. Also had to gently "massage" the left side of the bottom pipe with a hammer to give a little extra room. with that said, it works great:flipoff2:
I think I am on the wrong coast for that........ not many of us cruiser heads up here in the NorthEast.
Besides, then it turns into an issue with VIN numbers and the like.
Maybe I'll just keep her the way she is for now and enjoy life in the slow lane....:steer:
Thanks Eshu:cheers:
I just don't wheel the truck anymore and feel like the spring over isn't what I want on my nice weather daily driver. I feel that the SUA is much more stable at speed on the highway...... maybe it's just the bias ply swampers.......
I guess I forgot to mention that I am going to putting "new" stock housing back under the rig at the same time being that I did cut and turn the front axle
Hey guys, I am hoping from the amount of knowledge here someone has already been where I am headed. My rig is currently SOA with a shackle revesal (OEM parts, not rock finders) and I planning to remove the SOA and go back SUA.
My question is, am I going to have weird steering geometery...
The cover plate for the transfercase are a dime a dozen......
As stated, the winch itself is correct but, the shaft, pillow blocks, shifter is all wrong (not OEM). The most imortant thing there that I don't see are the rear shims (wedges) for the rear cross piece.
Where are you located?
you lucky bastard!!!!!!! Good for you, that is a great looking rig. Take care of it and it will take care of you........
Oh and weclcome to mud:flipoff2:
I'm suprised that no one asked the most obvious question....... Did you fully loosen the bolt on the backside of the door post panel that holds the hard top post in place?
If not, that little bolt will make you talk to yourself.....:bang: Been there years ago.......:censor:
