    Hood adjustment finally fixed

My guess is that is a plastic cover for a nut or bolt that is under it. I would bet if you used a pointed pick tool the middle will come off and reveal the nut/bolt.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

That panel and the ones around the rear window switches are the last remaining ones in my truck. Looks more like a Land Cruiser without that stick on wood.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Finished the Redarc tow-pro elite trailer brake controller install and swapped out the flat 4 pin connector for a 7 pin one. Next project will be adding the trailer charging wire to the connector but I didn't have enough wire or time today to do that.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Started working on my Redarc TowPro Elite trailer brake controller. Got the blank for the stock diff lock switch drilled out to work with the standard control knob plate that comes with it. Tomorrow I'll hopefully get the rest installed while the kids are at school.

For Sale Wyoming: 2004 Jayco Baja 10Z

If this had an inside shower/toilet I'd take it. Does it have an outside shower?

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Tore apart the right front to replace my torn inner CV boot and worn lower ball joint. While under the truck I found a nail in my LR tire. Luckily it went in sideways and into the larger tread block and didn't puncture the tire. While replacing the boot I did the stretch mod so hopefully it...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

It's done when you do a lift, plus the bushings in my front links were worn out. I didn't notice a difference in handling. I came across a couple posts claiming that some from flex is gained by running the longer links once lifted but there was no articulation measurements or pictures to back...

$18 extended front sway bar links

So the front of my truck has developed a very small clunk over bumps and I figured since I'm lifted and the original links had 325k miles I'd start there. While the Trail Tailor links look great I do not have $145 in the budget for them. So Google image searching I went. After a little while I...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Lots of little projects today. Replaced my squeaking blower motor, discovered my right high beam was out and found the fuse was blown and replaced it, did the mod so the fog lights stay on when the high beams are on and replaced my air filter. Hopefully later today my new front sway bar links...

    Part ID help

This coolant pipe has a slow leak and I'm trying to find if it has a replaceable O-ring or if I need the housing. I tried looking on the Toyota website parts section for my truck but couldn't find it in the engine/cooling system section. This is behind the t-stat housing assembly just under and...

The ongoing saga of trying to get new tires

I will. I may email their corporate office what has happened and see if I can get a credit to use at a different one of their chain stores because our van is getting close to needing tires. One of the things I miss most about not working in a shop is not being able to do my own tires and...

The ongoing saga of trying to get new tires

Doing a carry in with just the 4 wheels would be ideal but I don't have a way to transport 4 wheels/tires that large. Also having done every job at that shop replacing 4 tires once on the rack should have taken 20 min or so, I should not have gotten a call almost 2 hours later and one of the two...

Rough cold start...rough idle for 20 sec, then fine

The pump itself could be OK but the check valve that is part of the pump assembly could be bad causing the loss of pressure when it sits. A mechanical fuel pressure test will show what is going on.

The ongoing saga of trying to get new tires

So at the end of December I went to my local tire shop to get some new tires, they had a promo on Cooper tires, buy 3 get one free and a free alignment. I decided to try the Discoverer AT3 XLT's. I wanted 295/75/16's but they were not in stock anywhere close and wouldn't arrive in time for a...

Rough cold start...rough idle for 20 sec, then fine

I didn't read all 3 pages so I'm sorry if this has been tried. You or your local shop should hook up a mechanical fuel pressure gauge. Start the truck and see what it's running pressure is when it is idling like it should and see if it is in spec. Then turn the truck off and let it sit...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Did this mod to disable the DRLs. I didn't like them on because I bought upgraded halogen bulbs and didn't want the extra wear on them. I didn't do the switch because I don't want high beams as DRLs at all. Hopefully next week I'll wire the inner front marker bulbs to be DRLs...

    Steering Rack Bushings

Not trying to hijack but I'm pretty sure my rack bushings are done in my '01. Which poly kit works best?
