Caliper pistons are 3mm bigger rotors are (forget exactly how much) bigger and pads are a little thicker. Same price as the parts for the 470 but bigger. For how much more weight I have the extra stopping power was needed.

I have the same question. My Gx470 reservoir seems permanently stained. I really need to flush but I just do a fluid swap every other oil change till I have some time.
I know I was just saying for 250 you can remove the problem with the VVTI and keep keep your 30 hp worry free. Also I don't see why people don't run premium in thei VVTI?!? I mean I feel like most of us plan on keeping our rigs forever and run them on the best fuel/oil we can...
Well for $250 you can bypass the pump in the VVTI... For $250 I'll take 30hp even if it's not that evident for the driver. Then again mine is not my daily and gas mileage doesn't matter... Also will be upgrading gears later so that has no effect either. Just my opinion
