My beloved 1996 which I have owned since 2002 needs to make room for my 2013 LC. I bought this from the original owner, had it as my primary vehicle until 2006. It's been driven to Mexico, and I would drive it back there tomorrow if I had the time. It is black with tan. It shows 227k which I...
I have 5 very nice stock FJ 60 or FJ62 wheels. I took them off my 1988 FJ62 approximately 12 years ago and they have been in my attic in separate boxes ever since. No idea what they are worth, but with no rust, etc. maybe $300 plus shipping? email at whawkins@joneshawkinsfarmer or call at...
Selling my beloved cruiser... black on tan leather, 230k, full factory locks, BFG KOs, ARB bull with winch, Slee vented discs up front. I bought the truck in early 2000s with 123k on the clock. First owner was my dentist's wife so the lockers were stiff. It is in good shape and only reason I...
I am looking for some new discs for my ride as well......as for cross drilled.....a quick look at my Carrera (and most other high performance sports cars) reveals that I have cross drilled rotors.......and some really, really big calipers. I do not think Porsche would put those on the car unless...
I am a little speechless.....trying to decide if my 4th LC will be an '07....almost wish I had not seen those rims and tires, but I guess that is what makes the world go round........
Mine took a bottle jack and wood to spread attachment points to fit my cruiser and to my knowledge the frame is straight on my cruiser.....quite a job because of the allignment, etc......had quite a few beers during the process.
I use EBC on my motorcycles...dirt and road....and have had good luck. This is interesting....but I recall putting stainless braided lines on an older Ducati...changing the stock rubber lines.....prior to the replacement of the lines I had pulsing....I could never decide why it...
I have been resetting that code for several years on my 1996 with 157k. Easier and cheaper to reset than to replace the cats. I can go several weeks without resetting, but when I drive at moderate speeds (45-65) for any length of time, the code is usually triggered. I figure it has to do with...
Forget about the MPG and get a new prez. I feel confident that had Bush not gotten us into this war in Iraq, we would not be looking at 2.00 a gallon for regular unleaded. I think it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better despite OPEC announcing an increase in production.
HOW IS THAT...
I need to get my truck tested for emissions and have reset the code for bad catalytic converter by removing the fuse. I am wondering if my error codes are stored and if they will appear on the emissions testor OBD-II scanner, thus making me flunk. Long and short, do I need to go get the truck...
I run OEM 100 pads on my 80. Relaced my rotors at the same time. They work great....stop much better and appear to last much longer. They are thick pads....no noise.
I used the quality "Nissan" silver and have had no problems. The paint has held well. I did not use primer but rather used steel wool to smooth with multiple coats of paint applied.....beer in one hand and paint can in the other.
