BaT Not Mine: PZJ70 Pickup with 1HZ-T Swap

Catching up with you all on this. I was stoked when this popped up on my bat email that it was listed. If Bat is going to author-sugar coat these listings like this they will become extinct over it. If they want to sell and represent pedigree vehicles they should pre screen in person and look at...

Heck, I thought I posted pics of the paintjob. Here is one. the 80 spent most of the summer at the bodyshop getting a oem green repaint. It looks great. I have been reading up on the audio threads. I am looking to put a nice, but not the ultimate system in it. No video, small sub etc. I am...

Official 37" and up picture thread

The yokos are amazing. One finger at 70mph on the highway. I feel my ram assist steering is the secret. It will stop death wobble. Even my unbalanced biased swampers cruise great on the highway.

On a sidenote I just purchased a set of "street" wheels and tires. The bias swampers are not good on the street and wear super quick. So I choose a 40 x 13.5 x 18 Yokohoma Geolandar MT with a Moto metal 18 x 9 wheel. The difference in drivability is night and day better. I can now cruise down...

Just fine. The axles can hold the power if the driver is responsible in delivering the proper amount of throttle to situations. Even with the 1fz axle breakage can occur. Consider floorboarding any rig with big tires "deadly force" only use when necessary! I love this setup thus far. It is...

    And so it begins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6 inches of lift is the answer to that. I really think you guys have a few contraints that are going to be very challenging to develop a solution. My initial thought is the place you are going to be in trouble is the back passenger corner of the tranny pan and the passenger side of the engine...

Thanks I hear you. Its important to me that you all know that I am turning all the wrenches, doing the fab, wiring etc on my projects. Anyone can pay a good shop to do a swap. I enjoy the challenge of this work.

Thank you, There are shifter gear position messages that light up in the led area on the bottom of the tach i did not use them. I am making an addition to the dash that is not ready yet. I am chopping out the oem f + r diff lock, center diff, etc pieces out of the factory cluster and...

Gauges are not working yet. Laser cutting two more brackets today to mount control box. I decided to go aftermarket bc the tach and water temp is very inaccurate. this Dakota Digital system is really nice. Awesome quality, design, great service and instructions plus made in USA. Highly...
