I'll second that....I finally tossed my OEM cross drilled rotors on my M3 after repeated cracking. They are simply for show or light use. During heavy use ( road track or similar conditions) they quickly develop cracks between the drilled holes.
Cleared the P0401 code with a new VSV and Modulator. Replaced the associated vacuum hoses as well. Also cleared the ABS light after finding a broken wire at the LR connector. Gotta love a black-board dash!

I'm in the same dilemma. I've decided to likely go with a diesel SUV (VW or Porsche) in a couple of years. I might consider doing short hauls with the LX but the brakes are meh and power is lacking. I've seen a lot of racers towing large enclosed trailers with the above diesel SUV's.

Question: I installed locked axles off of a donor vehicle several years ago and have not gotten around to wiring them up. Is this a problem since I cannot manipulate the lockers before pulling the axle?

My 17y/o daughter whacked a Hyundai Santa Fe at a stoplight yesterday. The ARB is bent at the lower center slot. No other damage to our truck and most importantly, no injuries.
I'm considering heating the bumper with the Oxy-Acetylene torch and bending (read:beating) it back to original form...
