Man I WISH my BFGs were the 10 or 9.5 I have 33 12.50 and i have considered even putting them craigslist to trade for something skinnier, and maybe even smaller to a 32 in.
Ok cool that part makes sense, but is there anything else that the little box controls. I mean, everything in my weber is manual, so I wasn't sure I even needed the box plugged in. Right now I run it UNplugged and figured I'd leave it that way if it's safe to run like that. I have a timer switch...
I have searched and searched and cold not get a clear answer.
I have a 79 FJ40 that has been desmogged and has a Weber 32/36 carb with Manual choke. I have been going through cleaning up minor things and have been trying to find any info on desmog with Weber and the emission control box.

Hey everyone. Its been far too long since last I was on here but I have been doing some work on the FJ and one thing has really been bugging me.
Looked into the wheels that I currently have on, and can't really find much info.
They look like Old chevy rims and are kinda cool as they are wide...

My FJ40 is a 1979
I even tried using a volt meter to find...

Cool thanks for the tip. I sanded the original paint but not through. and then did about 4 coats. I still have some of the rustoleum in flat black so maybe I'll do another coat of black
I used an old cheapo ball head tripod head and a manfrotto rc2 adapter to mount the camera to.
I tried it out and it worked awesome. there is a video to go with it. its a tad long but you get the idea.

Well, over the last few days my dash has really been bugging me. Its full of holes and I thought about welding the holes (I'd have to borrow a welder)
But thought and thought and I am eventually putting new working gauges in by autometer of such.
You can see in the photo the all the holes, and...
