    It's normal. The 3.5 is stupid loud. Just use good oil every 5~7k, and be happy.

    TMI. Nice rig. don't freak when you leave the gas cap lose, and the dash lights up like Christmas, and go's into limp home mode. Toyota America is gone full nanny with the 3rd gen. Here's mine.

    Finally got my 27F AGM in, as you can see, there's a lot of space around the battery. Just a FYI.

    I thought that myself, until in less than two years my battery would read 12.4 volts. The 13.8 volts is low enough to kill any battery, flooded or AGM. I've seen countless post on 3rd gen Tacoma having batteries go bad in 1~2 years. Most of the post were flooded batteries.
