I feel like a dirt bag but I had some family issues come up that im still not clear of. As soon as things settle down Ill try and get my s*** together.
Welcome! Looks like a great find. I picked up my 40 on leave as well. I have a mountain of part to put on whe I get home. Today is my last day in the Ghan, forever if all works out. Hope ya dont have much longer over here, this place sucks. Stay safe and get home soon
PS: get a few more...
Thanks Coolerman, I was waiting for one of the electric guru s to check this out. I already have a rocker switch on order with the LED in it for just that reason.
Thank you Sir, good point on the switch and I think I may take your advice on wiring it so its usabe without the vehicle on. Im going with 30amps to give me room for add ons and from what I understand the 30amp fuse will protect 8 awg wire at that length.
Thanks again and Ill throw up some pics...
I know this looks like my 5 year old drew it but its all I could get done. I have read REZARFs thread on his second block and it was of great help. I just want to get a qualified persons take on my wire gauge sizes as I have seen different things on different sites in regards to length and what...
Signed up for a slot in Feb so now I guess I have to get all these parts put on. A deadline will be the perfect excuse to give my girlfriend for spending all day in the parking lot.

Where did the big tires go? Bring 'em back.
Dig the new color. I have an 80 myself but wasnt lucky enough to score the AC and PS. Great truck! Post up some pics of the inside.
Id love to get one like that but no one has them in stock at the moment. And cant find it on SOR, if you know the page # on their site let me know. 2 Cans would be easy to throw on there but not sure if the 40 carrier can hold the weight. My thinking on this is the least amount of fabing needed...
Ok, good call. Should have worded the title better. Gas can mount on the spare tire carrier.
And thank you for the thank you. Im not hurting too bad this go around thankfully. Drink a beer for the troops down south.
This was my first time using Sketchup but I think yall can get the idea. This seems like it would be easy to fab up with some 1 inch square tube. The footman loops on the side would have a ratchet strap run under the tire and connect on the other side. Just an idea for a cheap jerry can carrier...
