    Use a small air grinder next time and cut half way thru and hit with a cold chisel. Nice and clean.

    Im pretty sure the part numbers cross over. The original ones off the battery tray were very similar to the rad support shims.

    I know that the one I have on my stock 73 decal was similar to this, I saved it and will dig it out tonight. I know mine was different than what was available. I want to say the rpm was the only thing that was off.

    6-spline/30-spline Interchangeable on Warn Hubs

    Proved this out. Ill send them out tomorrow. For others interested in doing this. Insert the 6 spline drive gear in the new housing with one inside shim. Then put on the bronze spacer (backside or outside) then the matching old style snap ring. There is plenty of clearance to the spindle...
