    They put them in the Lexus models. My 2000 LC had a door and a space for a filter so I put a Lexus filter in. My 2007 LC has no door. Personally, I couldn’t care less. The filters are useless anyway.

    If he had a snorkel and crossed cautiously, the water would probably not enter the AC drain. It was the speed that forced the water into his cabin.

    Never had an 80 series, locked or unlocked. Last year I (foolishly) drove my stock 2000 LC out in 2 feet of unplowed snow. I was doing OK until I pushed up a snow bank in front of me and got stopped. I couldn't get enough traction to push the built up snow ahead. It wasn't the fault of the...

    Your LX will not likely get stuck in 8" of snow. But, trust me, with enough snow, you can get anything stuck.

    If I had a choice between a 1998 with 193k and a 2006 with 240k on it, I would go with the 06 every time, all other things being equal. There's the rub. How much is this "trade up" going to cost?

    You can just remove you phone from the list in the factory system, and it will stop connecting to your phone. You can also set the phone to "forget" the "Hands Free" connection. Then your phone will only connect to the BT45. My question was, is their any advantage to using the factory system...

    Why do you use the factory Bluetooth system for phone? Why not unpair it an use the BT45?
