Had one in mine since 2014-15. Happily the grey is a perfect match for my 2010 internal trim. They work well enough, look great and super handy for that 'once in a while' need but the compressor is not big. When airing up after an off-road trip I'd always use my portable twin comp.
Subscribed. I have hesitated for more or less the same reasons but this one seems like a strong contender. My only concern is that I have added a number of navi bypasses and a gear box mod that intercept the speed sensor wires behind the head unit. I am assuming they will remain in place...
Fireball, try doing a search on these boards. But in brief: They are an AT/MT hybrid. They are heavy!. They look aggressive but are still relatively quiet. Pretty good on road and great on dry trails. Are ok in the sticky stuff but I would say are not the best at casting or clearing mud...
TezAZ, Im wondering at the extra strain that 35s put on a lifted cruiser with a big V8 donkey under the hood. You're obviously using your cruiser as God intended but have you considered a diff drop and/or lockers?
There is a 2008 done 650,000 plus kms running around down here. I guess that's about 400,000 miles in old money. Only had new injectors 100k back. Still pulls like a schoolboy apparently.
I must say they do look the goods TexAz. Just a thought you might want to be a little careful when airing down with those 35/20s - especially in softish sand. Lcs are bloody heavy and don't need a whole lot of convincing to roll off an 18 or even a 17" rim if pressures are down around 18 psi or...
Here is a pretty good reversing camera relocation solution for those looking for one: relocating to underside of rear spoiler. Makes for a better view than stock and reasonable easy to route wiring. Besides a few the mounting clips the spoiler is affixed to the body with double sided tape so...
Yes have seen that done with some black cellophane or tape. I believe there is a post about it somewhere here. It appeared to be a good match and seems a good idea but have never got around to it.
I have one fitted. Saw it first at Sema. NSV Automotive. I ordered it on line. Cost about $300 delivered. No sweat to install. I have a post here somewhere here with pics. I'll see if I can find it. Mine was the dark grey colour too for perfect factory finish to match my internal...
