    Adventure Trailer - Market Survey

Bruder builds a nice trailer, but VERY expensive...thin air up there, meaning not a whole lot of buyers. We're looking at a mainstream product that appeals to not only someone who knows their overland style trailers, but not so overboard that the camper looking for an off-road style trailer...

    Steering Knuckle Grease Level

OK, I did a search and possibly I am missing something. I have the factory service manual and it fails to state how much Molybednum disulfide lithium base chassis grease (NLGI No. 2) to put into the knuckle. I was believing that you don't fill it to the top...and squirting it with a grease...

    My inTech MAX Flyer

I have no issues with my 2000 watt Honda, however I own two of them and bring them both along, only using the one though. I power my 9200 BTU Coleman roof mount A/C...the only thing that comes close to giving it problems is the 6000BTU heat strip in the A/C and it's ok as long as I have nothing...

None yet, I've hauled it more with may Acrura MDX (fuel economy) than the Cruiser, I shot a little video of my driving up in it, but it's blurry. I'll get some taken and post them soon.

forest service roads are not an issue...rougher terrain is really only restricted by ground clearance...you can change axles from 22.5 degree down axles to 45 degree down axles (Dexter torsion axles) again 2" more clearance...all the while the axle remains tucked even with the main frame. You...

    Seatbelt overhaul

I pulled mine out many moons ago and washed them in warm water, then soaked them in Downy fabric softener...then rinsed them very well until there was no fabric softener remaining in the webbing. Let them dry, reinstalled and they worked much better. Did not think to blow out the retractors...

    No Power - Won't Rev over 3K RPM's

Didn't get a lot of action on this thread, but hate to leave it without my final details of the repair...I bought two new catalytic converters...the front pipe section would not mount to the exhaust manifold...the spread on the pipes was too close to bolt up, so in frustration, I took the old...

The "Un-Official" Off Road Trailer Pic Thread

Here's a couple for you to look at that we built at my company...we did a 23Zero roof top tent (Litchfield), VERY impressed with the quality of the tent. The frame on this trailer is 100% aluminum, all-tube, fully welded cage frame, it's built for heavy-duty use. The inside is a climate...

    Drooping Visors? $9/Repair - Photos

Looking back through a few of my old mods when I had my 95'...this was probably my favorite and I really enjoyed reading what so many people had to say...it, without question really does put a smile on your face to get a droopy visor out of your face...we're already sitting closer to the thing...

    No Power - Won't Rev over 3K RPM's

Well, after some additional reading and the comments above, I decided to go ahead and pull the catalytic converter down...no surprise I believe this is the culprit...it's literally brand new with less than 5000 miles on it...more likely less than 2000 miles. But the front catalytic converter...

    No Power - Won't Rev over 3K RPM's

Well, I thought the culprit was the EGR Vacuum Modulator...replace it, NOPE. Hate hanging parts, but thought that was the issue. I replaced the formed silicone, heat resistant hose that goes from the EGR to the bottom the EGR Vacuum Modulator...the truck has no power and the hose keeps blowing...

    No Power - Won't Rev over 3K RPM's

I'll check the harness...no codes were set...not sure why. One more bit of information...the hose that goes from the EGR Vacuum Module to the EGR Valve was off...hissing, I reconnected it and the hose split. It looks like this is a formed hose and is probably able to handle high heat, when I...

    No Power - Won't Rev over 3K RPM's

Having an issue with my 96' Land Cruiser...background, 211,000 miles, replaced engine at 200K miles with a used motor that had 70K miles. Truck ran fine. Have not had any issues, then truck died on road, would not restart, I was not driving it. Towed the truck approximately 200 miles, I was...
