I agree. Sunroofs and Factory roof racks have been an unwanted but already installed accessory on SUVs I have owned. I rarely utilize the sunroof and have never, ever had use of the roof rack. On occasion, I have been able to get the Toyota I wanted without these items.
I am going to wait a year or two. I think the “new” will be gone by then and ADMs should be pretty well over with. If I buy one, I might even do like I did with my current Cruiser. Find one coming off of a lease with low miles and buy it. This will be my last “new” 4x4 purchase due to age and...
Like has been said, there are a lot of opinions on this forum. I think it will be a good vehicle, but I would recommend getting your hands on one when they come out, drive it and form your assessment based on your driving impressions. Before driving it, clear your head of the commentary provided...
If I buy one, depending on if there is a “Trail Hunter” option like on some of the other Toyota 4x4s, just aftermarket bumpers, skid plates and sliders. If there is no Trail Hunter option, a mild 1” to 2” lift, up a size in tires with a little more aggressive tread. Currently have Toyo Open...
Another thing that can happen, is your Toyota Dealer maybe able to get you close to what you want through Dealer trades. Several of my Toyota purchases have been that way. Usually they had one or two option packages I could have done without but I essentially got what I wanted. When it comes to...
I would like to throw in my 2 cents. First off, excellent fix! 2nd, every 10 minute fix is one bad move away from a daylong PITA. Passenger side mirror was problematic when it came to getting the center post to slide in to the "pocket". I did read in this, one comment about cleaning the area...
Another place for you to consider is Westlink Auto, just north of 13th on Maize. I have taken one of my older Toyotas there for service and have been pretty happy with their work. If you live out west, may be convenient for you.
This AMV BS is going to rule the roost for the first year or so. If I were to buy one, this is why I will be in no hurry. I bought my 97 CE 4 years old, low mileage, coming off a lease, got a pretty good deal. I anticipate doing roughly the same thing if I decide to buy a 250, but look for one...
Currently own an 80. I will say, the 250 has caught my interest. I will have to wait until they start dropping on dealer's lots and go for a look/see to see one in person and get a better idea if this is the route I want to go. I want to see the aftermarket response too.
Wonder if the Trail Hunter package will be available on this? In Toyota commentary about the Sequoia, Tundra, and Tacoma, it was mentioned as an option.
Reading through the latest TCT online magazine, they give a brief overview of the upcoming Land Cruiser and say it will be called the 240 Series. Any thoughts from you all on this information and what will be the new Land Cruiser? I know the article didn't really have much information that isn't...
I think the next generation 4Runner will be slightly larger, and there will be some type of “Land Cruiser” variation to it. Probably in the form of some option package. I don’t think the 300 Land Cruiser will be on Toyota showroom floors for sale to the general buyer. Personally, I was hoping...
