Thats the kicker, all the truck housings are good housings but they are usually too wide, that sucks, but reason #100000 we dont use stock stuff. Some of the car rears are a good width but you have to yank the bearing pockets to get to 35 spline.

Woodman's right, Id stay away from the EB housing, they are the weakest ever made, and in the rear you should have plenty of room for a wide (26") housing. IMO a stock 9 housing isn't really up to the task (thats why we dont use them) because of the thin wall tube, many have good luck with...
I know there are allready a few pics from this weekends comp, but I wanted to put mine in this thread. Turns out it does look real nice with a trophy on the hood.

Well, we are ready to race. Testings done, the race panels are on and we are ready for K-rocks this weekend. Everybody stroke Jim a little, its time to get it on!

Gave the rig a work out on saturday. It seems to work very well. Jim can chime in on his impressions, what Ive decided is that Im gona stop wheeling with him if he insists on driving the buggy all the time. That thing looks like a cart on the trailer with my monster truck.
Well all the functions work, this is a pic is lowrider mode. We have all hot lapped it around and its an increadible machine if I do say so myself. We are testing tomorow so I will have action shots. Now we can start getting into the tech of the systems soon. There sure are allota handles...
Well I have no buggy action pics (I was out taking my own last week) but I hear there was plenty to be had, here are a few of it as it sits today, DIRTY I might add, JIM.

Not sure how that last pic got on there, but that one handsome dude, looks like hes spanking Rock Pile, AGAIN!
This is the how the front lowers tie in, that is the skid plate, highly polished I might add, just under it.
The last pic is nothing that goes on the buggy, just some beutifull headers we built that I just got back from the coater and felt was pic worthy.

Damnit man, just come out and see it. It's Mexican food day you fool!
HAHAHAHA!
Progress is hard to see at this phase, especially since we have had it apart several times but heres a few to hold you over.
The Tin Men have been hard at work, and now the plumbers are banging it out.
I don't know if you can finish one of these things.
Some pics of the floor and fire wall and what not. SPECIAL t-case shifters, those things look complicated. They probably have a special purpose. Lets see if Jim remembers.

OK OK heres a few, this part of it doesnt look like much is going on, but there is. Rodney's just about all wired out in the engine compartment, now to finish the interior. The descision to keep the axle stuff under wraps is not mine to make, or I woulda shown you allready.
Butch, I forgot...
