We installed the front coil springs at the end of the day.
Trans crossmember was a bolt in and done deal. Same for drivelines, surprising but everything is good to go there.

The Patrol lacked crawler gearing at that time. Was tall too with 16” c/o and portals. If you look close you can see the rear LHS control arm bend and bend back, 2” 7075 will do that.

Yes I would, they hook up nice offroad and take a beating.
Most of the wheeling I do here in Idaho is sharp rocks, lots of locker time too. Anything will get beat up doing the same.

We have been doing the cut at the same place since the first one I did in 2016.
Only the first one got external fish plates though. For a cleaner look we have had frame rail sections bent up, frame rails are an oddballs size. So we insert an internal section first before plating over it and...
So this Cruiser has power windows but no power door locks, so we installed them.
We are also installing keyless entry with a FOB. Those parts will be here next week. 🤙
