I see you have steel wheels
When they balanced them did they check the wheels for excessive run out?
Some steel wheels can have bad run out, when I bought my steel wheels and found one was really bad and one not so bad, the people I bought them from would not take them back it blows
I have steel...
I have tried the hitch pin thing before with castor plates they were Ironman
I had the pin out wheeln one time last year and was going through a boulder field and caught one of the castor plates just right on a rock and bent the crap out the plate and the axle bracket where the pin was removed...
Thanks to the BBRC guys for once again having a great event
My son and I had a great time
It was great wheeln with the same group of guys as last year.
Well I should not of asked what gives.
We all know what the issue is here
Do not buy aftermarket radius arm bushings, that look just like OEM because they are not.
There is a reason it only cost $50 for the set for one radius arm.
Lesson learned here
I installed some new frame side MOOG radius arm bushings about 6-8 months ago
and I was under the truck today and noticed that they are already completely cracked through.
The MOOG bushings look just like the OEM bushings and said right on them made in Japan.
What gives?

Maybe putting in a hydraulic suspension system like the low rider cars do and make it so I can lower and raise...
I also carry AAA, for what it is worth.

My definition of reliable for me:
Barring any type real catastrophic failure and or major breakage while offroading do to operator error etc. that the vehicle even if having some type of malfunction and or broken part or parts can still be limped or driven home and not leave me stranded and the...
you seem to be coming around a bit.
you do seem to have a fondness for the 80
I would do a search on here and read, search for cost of ownership.
Like others have said including myself, there is not have to do anything reliable, and there is it will get me home and not leave me stranded...
Ok so you bought a used 16 year old vehicle and are complaining about some minor, and I say minor problems.
What did you expect?
Regardless of how well you claim the vehicle was maintained that does not really mean anything.
It is 16 years old.
Sorry to hear that you are not happy, time to move...
