When the plugs wear a little on my 94, it starts using oil. Runs fine and gas mileage stays the same, but just uses oil till I change the plugs. My 2 cents

I took mine out for good, but I live in the country and alarm not so important to me. Also you might check your efi fuse if the engine cranks but won't fire.
X2 on alarm. Same thing happened to my 94. PHH went and I towed it and after fix it wouldn't start. I had to completely disconnect the alarm and it started. Good luck
Jason,
Do you own a multi meter? You need to check the voltage output of the alternator whith engine running. should be about 14 volts. Then you can check the amp draw on the system when you turn on lights, etc. If the alterterator is charging, then you probably have something wrong...
I would replace the starter contacts. I had intermitent start problem and new contacts fixed it. Try this link
Denso Starter Contacts, starter repair kits, starter solenoid parts, solenoid contacts, starter repair go to the bottom of the page and order the kit and when you order you just...
I would check the EFI relay and/or EFI fuse. You can also close the realy contacts (like with a zip tie) and with key on listen for the fuel pump. It sounds like an electrical problem to me though.
It's several thousand acres with mostly ranch roads. Some of the roads are pretty rough though. It's not open to the public, so of course there are no trails cut for wheeling. Not bad for free. Also, no access during deer season- Oct-Jan.

probably the high pressure switch kicking in and out if the refrigerent is serviced correctly. You may have a bad expansion valve or a clog (typically in the expansion valve). I would suggest you vacuum the refrigerent out and check everything. Might save your compressor that way.
times two on lookng for the leak. If you have a blacklight, just look at the truck in the dark with the blacklight and the die will be obvious. I think since it was working fine until the freon ran out that you more than likely have a slow leak at a fitting and it would be an easy fix. You...
Thanks guys. I was afraid of something like that. Is there any way to verify wrong birfields? Part number, etc? I just purchased the truck and previous owner had the birfields redone at what I consider a reputable land cruiser shop. I am going to contact them and see if they can shed light on...
1991 fJ80. The front axles move in and out about 3/4 of an inch. I don't know if this is normal or if there is something missing interally. The problem is that the dust cap wont stay on when the axle moves out. One of the photos shows axle in, and the other with axle pulled out. The original...
