My local Napa in the Phoenix area stocks bulk Gates transmission cooler hose in 3/8, 5/8, and 1/2" which you can purchase by the foot. You can also find this on Napaonline.com. This should not require any specialty vendor.
If I bought a rust free 80 with <200K miles that had been decently maintained, I would probably plan on $15K-$20K in parts and hundreds of hours of labor to bring it up to a the level of reliability of my current rig (which I have had for 20 years). This assumes no internal engine or...
It will never be worth the time, frustration, and money to attempt to repair that damage. You would be far better off finding another 80. What is the condition of the rest of the truck?
Kaymar makes a similar model with an integrated (and rated) receiver hitch. You can get them with no swing outs or with left and /or right swing outs. Like TJM, the U.S. distributors come and go.
If you want to nerd out on why tire width has little impact on sand performance see this article: Why Wide Tyres Don’t Help In Sand - https://outbackjoe.com/macho-divertissement/macho-articles/why-wide-tyres-dont-help-in-sand/

There website is short on design, materials used, load ratings, etc. All I can gather is CNC-milled aluminum. As a comparison, check out the Method Race Wheels website which is chock full of technical specs. The Rock Trix website also does not list a physical address. I assume they are made...

There are online calculators that will take your OEM tire size, load range, and pressure and convert it to a recommended pressure for your new tires. Going from a P-metric to an LT tire will alter the recommended pressure. This should be the starting point for your new pressure, but vehicle...
Have you experimented with removing the flat panel at the front of the rack to see how much that is contributing to the noise? The air flowing up along your windshield is probably smacking that. You might need to relocate the rack back farther and install a wind fairing to solve your problem...
Very informative thread. Thank you. I just installed the Sony XAV AX5000. I put the USB port above the stereo, as that is closest to my phone mount. I also went a different direction for my backup camera. I ran the wires along the right side of the vehicle and exited through the rocker panel...
I would have never thought of proactively replacing a transmission solenoid.......until I was stranded 100 miles from home due to a failed lockup solenoid (which does more than just lock the converter, apparently). The tranny can still function with 1 of the 2 shift solenoids failing, but...
