Where might I find a late model 2F side cover? I browsed a few vendors and it seems that no one carries any covers... unless they just don't have them on their sites.
Well, I have an '83 block with what I believe is an open chamber head from '77. The valve cover I am not sure of, but it does not have the 2F insignia on it. I don't know if a 60 dizzy would fit. ???
I am in the market for a new distributor. I have an 83 block with a points distributor in my 40. What do I need to worry about when installing an electronic Distributor. I would also like to know if it is worth the money and effort.

The rods are so bent that the drag link get caught on the differential and makes it hard to steer and return. The tie rod is bent about 6" forward.
I will take all this info you have provided, but right now I may be buying a junked FJ40 that has a saginaw PS setup...
As the title says, both my tie rod and Drag link rod are bent. Tried looking for some stronger replacements on Iron Pig's site and they want $130 for each rod. :rolleyes:
I then looked up the High steer kits. I already have discs, so I assume I have the right knuckles. My suspension is up 4"...
