bob, i believe i have one.. Let me dig it out. What year and carb? and what does your air cleaner look like currently? Might be interested in a trade if it is what i am needing.
Voltage? I imagine Jake knows how to get ahold of the 2 small guys in town. Rob or Jess. Abs sensors can toss those. We recently diagnosed one by ohming out the abs sensor on one wheel. Could also be loose wheelbearings.
I've got the majority of a 64 45 lwb harness here. Missing wiper portion. I think headlights were a separate harness also after switch. $150 shipped seem fair? I did see a new 65 fj40 harness repro on ebay for $1400. I made my own wiper harness out of coolerman pieces.
Start with painters tape to isolate the whistle. Btdt. Glass half full moment. Your annoyed by a whistle at speed, which means your driving it. Better than most in the forum.
Gonna guess I'll be early and stay late. Prob 1.5 people. I'll try to keep the .5 out of the pond but I apologize in advance because she really likes that pond.
Goals to have the 100 rolling again? Without deadlines nothing gets done. I'll put in my pto request. Do they have cabins now? Asking for the old guy that I somehow became.
Or the southern cruiser crawl in Oct at the same park. Or both?
I believe u are correct and the hurricane signal to the clutch I believe goes to the idle up. Not sure what the other stuff is in the main harness unless some eco mode turns off the ac or full throttle turns off ac.
Some older fj40's had a tube going down the side of the radiator and did not have a catch can. If the dealer didn't drain the block thus doing a proper flush you might have incompatible coolants jelling up, might need to be burped, might have a bad cap, might b overheating, might be normal if it...
I like the flat splicer, two reasons, one is every synthetic line I've ever taken apart doesn't have enough bury of the end on the splice, and two, it eliminates a potential pin failure. I have a line spliced already with a flat splicer for the other 45 I'd be happy to let you test. And there...
I am currently running soft valved bilsteins. Tried a set of emus and way too stiff. I would not hesitate to get a set of these springs and probably will later. I just need to put miles on the 45 before I justify any other expenses on it. I have a set of despringed ome springs on the other 45...
The deja vu this is why im interested. I have a set of the tic parabolics, the set chef had that were referenced in the other thread were too short. I sorta ended up with 2 sets to make one out of, Chefs and my own set we imported. I'm watching cause the tic's are damaged and will prob fail...
? B4 u go too far, need to set the ac box in there and insure the hoses will turn and clear before you put them on a panel like that. Where are the other 2 ac vents going? I might have some extra vents here to help layout. I'll dig and put them in the "to kelly" box.
Paul, u still need a corner? I think I saw spares at the other house a few weeks ago. I think the reason we didn't use them was a few scratches and weld splatter marks. If you don't find one let me know. Wasn't planning on getting rid of spares but will help a fellow friend out that's helped me...
The Egypt one should work. I had to find one overseas to fit chefs 45. Might b easier to see if someone has a 3spd floor shift conversion lying around for sale cheaper
I'm away from my vehicles. But, the tall 40 puck by running boards, then a circular one between back cab mount. I can snap pics this weekend with measurements. Front 40 mounts under bib, running boards, and front of cowl, 55 style back of cab sandwiched down with sleeve inside.
