I don't have many miles since I finished...about 30 in mixed city driving. I'm still getting used to it and have noticed that I'm spending a lot more time at low RPMs than I do in my 2nd gen pickup. I think that will change as I get more seat time. It definitely feels peppier off the line.
I bought this truck 11 years ago intending to make it a manual. I then moved to Western Washington where emissions testing and strict engine swap laws made that very difficult. Here we are at the end of 2021 and we no longer have emissions tests and I have a 5 speed LX450.

I purchased a Land Cruiser Heaven H151 swap kit for my LX and need some help diagnosing if I have mismatched parts or if I've screwed something up on the install. I just got the transmission aligned and sucked up to the engine and there is no resistance on the clutch fork...like the pressure...

I have a 3 speed TC, so I held out for a 10 spline SM465 to avoid having to swap the tranny mainshaft. For what it's worth, I was able to swap driveshafts front to back without any further modification.
use the steel pipe. don't drop the birf onto the pipe, rather rest the birf and drop the pipe and axle onto the concrete. make sure there is a rag in the pipe to catch the axle. this method has never failed for me.
I painted the inside of my top with white enamel. My truck is far from stock and I figured headliner would just be a sponge to hold moisture against the metal. I think it looks pretty good.
As for removal, I have always used four cinch straps, one at each corner, to hoist the top against my...
