I can't tell if the PO kept the engine bay really clean on mine, but unsure if mines been changed at 295K. How bad was yours inside? If you cut it open? Notice anything different driving around?
I mean, you could lay fiberglass fabric down and apply a coat of epoxy to harden the backside. One could also remove the screws and place washers to distribute pulling force on the backside.
Cheapest way would probable find a low mileage one at a junkyard. I'm not really sure, seems like some...
I purchased from a fellow MUD member, @DiegoCrzr, last month. I run 863's and thought these would soften the ride on my built 100. After some research, determined the 863's are the right choice, and it's my shocks.
Asking $100 + shipping. These will ship in the OME Box, via Fedex. I have an...
I ran the OG HarborFreight 12K with a steel line in my ARB back in the day (2011-ish) with stock torsion bars. Great winch, took a beating for the money...
My thundercloud has failed clear as well. Curious on what you are paying for a respray? You can PM if you'd prefer, just trying to get some ball parks. I've been 2K - 10K...
They are fantastic for the money, around $1,000 at my door. Coming from OME NitroChargers that had 100K on them, it was night and day. I was torn between the Dobinson MRR (Adjustable) shocks which ran $2,600 at my door. I am very happy with it, for how heavy this truck is, and the "heavy"...
I swapped my diff bushing out for a new one. It has made a world of difference. OEM had failed and coming back on throttle was met with a cabin shaking boom. The jack is not supporting my 100, it is there to hold the skid plate up.
I then went to the gym, and realized that the diff bushing swap...
I've got quite the cart with them, was your guesstimated shipping accurate? They are less than PartSouq, but I don't want to get the shipping bill and get destroyed lol.
ARB 03+ Combo gets my vote, you do have to trim the bottom tab on the frame horn, however there is still a threaded so if you really need to bolt the OE bumper back on, there is something for a bolt.
Those are Depo's, private labeled for USR. Solid choice.
Admittedly, save $100 and get them from here. The "clear corner" look isn't of interest to me, but if it's worth $100 then the USR units are the same as the Depo in terms of optics/output. FWIW - I work for HD's parent company...
I did not take it off/apart. I cleaned everything nicely and then used my trusty grease gun and slowly pushed the old out. The shaft itself took quite a while for the old to get pushed out. I’m thinking somebody used the wrong type. It was black and looked pretty nasty.
I'd send quite a bit of grease through the driveshaft for the slip joint, as well as the spider bearings. I flushed mine with Mobile 1 Red and no more knock. When coming off a speed bump, it sounded like somebody hitting the underside of the body with a hammer. I also took the time to spray a...
I just reached out to Sunny regarding the 100 Series seat covers. Hoping they can make a grey set to match the "Stone". Thanks for all the 200 members that found these and posted pictures!
300K on the OE leather, and I really want to try to preserve it. I'm not a fan of the A/M leather"ette"...
Can you give it a little gas to keep it running? I'm not a pro at this one, but sounds likes the spark plugs aren't sparking and it's just drying? The other thing I could maybe think of is fuel pump shot?
