80 Series - Caster Correction Shop for the Houston Area.

Javier is the man you want to speak with. Great guy and knows cruisers. He's the only one who works on my rigs outside of me. He also does great general mechanic work as well.

Awning room as a primary tent?

I wouldn't have much confidence in the room in an unexpected storm. I think wind might be an issue. Please note I don't have an awning room but I do know tents.

Lockers - why you want them and how/when to use them

Lockers, like the winch and shovel etc. etc., are tools. When properly used give advantage to not having them. Sure I could dig my rig out of a mud bog by hand or use a shovel. I could try to push my rig or use a winch. I could spin my tires throwing rooster tails of dirt all the way up a hill...

Gear puller for front transfer case output

Ive done the front and rear seals on the tcase. I wish I could remember how I did it but I don't have a press. I can tell you this, I spent 2 hours on one snap ring. Drove to sears, bought another one and in 2 minutes it was out. The tcase is one of those places where the right tool actually...

    Rear Heater Core

We need slow down a bit. If you bypassed the rear heater lines only, then you should have heat from the vents once warmed up, if not you have other issues. If you bypassed both heaters, that would make sense.

Which material would be best suited for camping cookware?

I don't see much difference between a gas stove at home and a gas stove in camp. Electric to gas is different but if it's a learned skill, so too will be fire cooking.

My overdue PM journey. Picture heavy.

I'm shooting from memory and it's been a while since I touched the fuel rail for my hg job but, isn't the fuel rail torqued to 22 inch pounds? Don't quote me thought it's worth a recheck. Looking really nice.

'93 FZJ Getting a New Look Interior

Truly outstanding. Kudos to anyone willing to put good money into an old truck no matter their intended purpose. I look forward to pics of the finished interior. What sound deadening products did you use and what is your overall opinion on the performance of said product?

    Pit Barrel Cooker

I too have been smoking meat for a long time on an offset using wood. You can get about the same flavor from a drum smoker as you can a barrel smoker. I know guys that have won competitions cooking out of a home made barrel smoker which by the way would cost you about $150 to make yourself. I...

    CXRacing Performance Header.

I would love to know how you would go about adding 50 ponies to the old girl. I'm all ears ------- As for the OP, yes I agree with LINUS's comment about cheap headers my experience with headers is that you get what you pay for and also for imports that gains are minimal (unless paired with a...
