Working on replacing the worn U-Joint at the rear axle on my 78 40. Order OEM U-Joints to do the replacement. Took the drive shaft off and pressed out the old joint. Cleaned up the shaft and proceeded to install the new joint, only to find it does not fit the yoke. Slip side of shaft, uses this...
Issue resolve. I ended up being the clutch was stuck to the preasure plate. One quick wack with hammer and brass drift. Clutch came loose. Thanks for everyone's help.

Thanks, I will give that a try this weekend. Hopefully it will work and I can use it this weekend, but at this time, I am thinking I will be pulling the transmission/T-case to replace the pilot bearing.
OK, here is the deal. I just finished a 4 week install of a new 4" lift on my 40, put the tires back on and hopped in ready to take it for a ride. Started it up and went to put it in reverse and all I get is grinding.
Bleed the clutch, pulled the inspection cover and the clutch is separating...
Here is what I have figured out after doing much research on this site.
The power steering pump is part number 206823. This is the pump for a 1977 Buick Century, and other cars from that time.
The pulley you can get from GRAINGER Pulley: PN 3x586, Bushing: PN 3x573.
