if there's anyone from Long Island or NE NJ who is going and may be able to take a pair of seats back to their local for me, please let me know - PM is great!
I'd be willing to pay something....
Thanks!
and the photo finish...
Gents,
below are photos of the fiberglass running board in question with the stainless expanding anchor bolts I used to put it back up:
ugly drilled hole...
Positively (rocker panel is right below the door, correct?).
As for the wall anchors, I couldn't think of another solution, the lag bolts ripped the metal, so there was nothing left to grip for another bolt to grab. Wall anchors I figured can hold things to drywall...
I would have rather had the 'real' 'factory' boards, thus saving 8 holes in each rocker panel.
I don't think i can remove them as :princess: who hates the truck enough thus far would have no way of getting in... (i know what you're thinking... and that's not an option)
I took a trip to Home...
I've had my 80 since July. It was owned since new by family in Florida...
it is a '93 - two toned gray/silver.
it has 'factory' running boards (not factory, but they were on the delivery sheet from the SE Toyota dealership, i've found out) that are dark gray fiberglass on a metal bracket...
Beowulf,
Do you, or anyone else, have the manual to the 'other' TVSS - the one with the horn defeat/valet switch on the dash?
an EWD would be awesome as well for that.
please let me know.
thanks!
trim dash. unplug factory amp behind the right front speaker, and find the grey connectors buried behind the stock radio.
the LC radio connectors don't work, the grey ones buried are plug and play with toyota standards.
I do not have an EWD for the alarm. I'd love one. I've found one for the RS3000, but that doesn't have the valet switch box thing.
I thought the '93 and '94 TVSS would have been the same, as long as your alarm/keyless system has the valet/horn defeat switch on the dash, I'd assume it would be...
