I have a bag of these from replacing mine a long time ago. They are not exact fit but work well enough. Give me an address and I'll send to you. And then pass the others forward. Or if multiple folks want I can send in envelopes. I think 6 left.

Anyone have any leads on rear lift springs for a new model highlander/kluger? Seems all the major makers like king stopped making them for these vehichles in 2017. Which is unfortunate as even unloaded the rear springs are too soft. Load in a few things and even towing a small trailer at...
Have some extra bits left over after rebuild last year and the machine shop reworked my existing head;
Both Camshafts
Set of buckets/shims
Caps/bolts
Valve Cover
All of this is used take off from a early model 1fz head that I ended up not using as it the bores were more out of line than my...
Finally decided to sell. Again. For the 3rd time. Each time couldn't bring myself to do it. Just no more time to use/wrench with small kiddo and crazy work.
Located in Bend, OR so really just posting here on the off-chance someone has contacts in Bend that may be interested. Craigslist...
No return spring connected from what I can tell. I had same issue where I forgot to put it back on when I reassembled. Almost exactly what happened to me. Replaced brake booster, in some cases it would pull down the pedal and I'd have to use my toe to pull back up. Was totally dismayed after...
Can't speak for OE booster, but the high quality aftermarket(or maybe oem as listed on their page) from Cruiseryard came w/ the check valve. I just bought the two gaskets and installed it. good to go.
After a few years of water draining into my headlights (due to removed wind faring on hood but not knowing I needed to replace the rubber stripping underneath that was removed when it was installed), my headlights were pretty much worthless.
Owning an LX450, my options were as follows:

You could always try...if you hae a real mechanic that diagnosed that as the failure and still have the filter (wasn't thrown away) submitting the form may be worth a few min of your time on the off chance it works
Lots of us either diagnosed ourselves or didn't have the filter which makes more...
Yup thats what I envisioned the internals looking like.
For others that find this thread, some good info here: Parts for steering box rebuild - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/parts-for-steering-box-rebuild.1254109/
West Texas offroad was the bees knees a number of years back and why I...
@tway Worn components within the box that could not be adjusted out by preload. My guess is both the sector shaft and power piston teeth gears had worn down too much due to poor maintenance by PO's for the original 180k miles. I have since replaced the whole steering box with new from toyota...
You can bore out +1 on a 1fz-fe with no downsides. You can use aftermarket or Toyota components as you desire. No affect on longevity other than you are rebuilding new so will last longer than the existing components. It does add a bit more pep in my personal experience, partially due to the...
I'm in the same boat. Put the vc120 in a handful of years back. Seemed to work better but not perfect. Coming back over the pass a few weekends back (0 to 5000k ft) fairly quickly in 100 degree heat pulling a 3000k camper and at the top, the tank vented for probably 10 minutes. I think hard...
Yes all oem with the exception of a new oil pressure sender. Opted to get the +1 pistons, rings, bearings, all of it OEM. All the original marked bearing sizes were available as well for the main and rod (plus the undersized, or is it oversized ones). Made it very easy to order knowing it...
Those pistons look in way better shape than mine did and I had no problems going with the +1 pistons. Same with the bores.
I've not enough experience with these engines to comment on the counterbalance side of those marks on the crank. But it sure doesn't look like something jammed in...
Have the following misc bits left over from my engine rebuild. A few things I double ordered (doh) and others i ordered spares and just weren't used. Can anyone make use of this? Not looking to split it up, I'll just toss in a small box and ship (I'm in OR). All parts i got from partsouq as...
