Brake Upgrade - The Tundra Mod

All the 03-09 4th gen 4Runner guys upgrade to the 5th gen brakes. It's very common. I have had no issues with my 2008 4Runner brakes (they are stock).

Brake Upgrade - The Tundra Mod

The hub outer housings and dial are the same. The red color of the hub dial helps indicate it's IFS spline count...

A shout out to Cruisermatt! Alternator Questions answered.

Thank you @cruisermatt for taking my phone call last friday evening. A friend of mine with a 91 FJ80 called me on his way out of town saying his alternator was failing. I had a spare 3FE alternator out of a 62 in my garage. I wasn't sure if they were compatible. Matt answered my phone call even...

Side Cover vs Push Rod Cover

Very time intensive and painstaking. I spent a weekend replacing it and the front crank pulley gasket. Blah. Similar headache as changing a starter on a V8 4Runner / LC motor.

    AT Oil Temp Light

I swapped my A440F years ago and the light stayed on. I was lazy and never looked into it. You are on the right path with the sensor and wiring. If you don't have the A440F service manual let me know and I can give you a dropbox link.
