I got home Sunday afternoon and still washing and cleaning stuff. But heading out for another trip next week so not trying to get all the dirt now.
Thanks to Daniel for leading, Josh for gunning and everyone for being a good group to travel and camp with.
I decided this is my last trip on...
Glad you made the list. Dana and I exchanged several posts about Kokopelli’s Trail before he mentioned being on the waiting list. He was going to tackle it solo if he didn’t get in with us
I’ve decided to bring my trailer and do the drive around. I’ve seen reports about a bridge being out up in the La Sals so we might all have to detour and shorten the trip.
Josh convinced me that having my proper bed was very important. Also I was struggling with what to bring from the trailer...
I’m Ace Brown (I think, Mud wouldn’t let me login with me forum name, but it’s been quite some time since I tried). I live in Western Colorado in the nice little mountain town of Cedaredge. Currently retired and spend a LOT of time overlanding. I’m the president of the Book Cliff Cruisers and...
Dear Toyota Fans and BCC members,
Our next quarterly meeting will be Wednesday July 6, 6:30 pm at Mesa County Fairgrounds. Meeting in one of the picnic shelters near the ball fields. Plan to order pizza, do brief meeting concerning future plans and activities, then do a night run up Land Ends...
I have all but stopped using Mud for announcements and news. It got so bad for awhile I just gave up. Anyway the best way to find out what is happening is to follow our page on Facebook.
I will continue to post stuff here when Mud is working for me. Actually working ok right now but last time...
Apparently there was no Janusry meeting. This really is a disappointment, but I think we should try to pull together an April meeting. If no interest them I'm afraid it will be time to fold the Book Cliff Cruisers tent.

I wasn't even looking for news of CM16 registration but stumbled on I and got registered. I thought it normally opened in March. Reg went smooth except some of the drop down questions did not respond until tried many times. I know I live in Colorado but it kept defaulting to Alaska. Using my...
We now have six signed on and two straddling the fence. Can't beat Baja weather in January about anywhere north of the equator and with all the great off-road adventure possibilities offered down there.
My very limited experience with that group is they prefer hard core trails. Our possible merge was discussed here earlier and on FB. Grand Mesa Jeep Club seemed all in favor but they abruptly reversed course. Our current plan is to press on and keep trying to recruit new members. We have had...
First news is that Grand Mesa Jeep Club has reversed it's earlier position and does not want to do the proposed merge with BCC. I see this as sign that BCC should move forward and try to grown and prosper on our own.
Our next meeting is Jan 6 at 6:30 with location to be determined. I will...
Our gang of Retired Ol' Farts (ROF) are heading south to Baja for a couple of weeks, but maybe up to eight weeks. Our plan is to cross at Mexicali on December 27 then head down to San Felipe that day. We will stay on the gulf side most of the trip. This post is just to announce the trip but...
BCC is holding a quarterly meeting Oct 7, 6:30 PM at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Meeting under one of the pavilions near the ball fields. This is an important meeting as we need to discuss the future of our club. Please be there.
Thanks,
Ace
Today I installed the Hefty Fabworks sliders. Much stronger than the custom ones I had built and really neat design. Old ones for sale to anyone with a 2010-15.
