Solved! Borrowed another ECU and it runs with no codes. Timed at 5*.
35110- no run, codes 21 and 52.
35030- no run, code 14 (old style)
35040- run, code 12 (old style)
35020- run, no codes.
So I've had 35020 in there and ran it for an hour or so last night with no issues!

Sealant was a last minute just in case thing a few years ago when I did a flooded run and crossed a few 40" deep holes. Didn't know about the gasket.
I did the supra afm upgrade today, found it for 25.99 I pull it, seems to run much much better in the higher rpms now than ever, but still wont idle. For anything. It starts for about 10 seconds, dies, and smells flooded. I checked the cold start injector, its delivering fuel. Sensors ohm out...

Map wouldn't load on the mobile but I assume you mean the brock creek area? If so... its super tight. And be careful of getting on the OHV trail system, its designated to vehicles skinnier than 53? Inches.
Okay... messed around some today.
Its done a complete 180*. Very, very hard start regardless of warm or cold. Runs 500x better though once it starts to run.
Alright... today I pulled an unmolested harness from an another 86 4runner and hooked it up. Codes 21 and 52 and very, very hard starts.
So I think I have a bad knock sensor that is causing the engine to lean out which causes the o2 problem. Something else I noticed was my check connector...
I noticed i have a very small coolant leak from tge iacv.
could one simply bypass it with a cable actuated valve? Like putting a choke on it?
I'm pretty sure its getting to temperature, my foot is getting warm through the firewall!
Today I idled it around and out some new carpet ib it.
