    I've established the the ECM has power. Would a bad sensor cause the Check Engine light to NOT to illuminate? (ignition on) With ECM powered, what other conditions would cause the Check Engine light to NOT to illuminate? (ignition on)

    I had the aftermarket alarm removed six years ago at the Toyota dealership. The alarm had a remote start. Thanks, I'll check this too.
