    Lots of assumptions there, IMO. Look at this post- Any major differences in 4BD1T engines of different years? 2 engine data tags, one from a '85 spec'd at 116 HP. The other from a '89 spec'd at 126 HP. My engine tag also reads 126 HP, which would leave me to believe that this is the later...

    This is a later 4BD1T, I believe the truck was a '91 with the better pistions, cam, etc.
