Sorry for late reply and for not closing the thread. The 40" tires are sold. Now running 37s. So far the internal beadlocks have been fine. They balanced easily for getting to the trail and the tires stay on them on the trails running at 8psi. If I was starting from scratch I would buy...
No. But one would fit over the cage if I relocated the hi-lift to the inside. I have toyed with trying to find one. I have the hard doors and it would be nice to be able to button it up and head up to Flagstaff for snow wheeling.
Pics from the break-in run last weekend at AZ Rocks. The truck was super impressive and climbed like a champ over everything we tried. The crawler box is a great feature. We never spun a tire. I am very very pleased.
Blocks are gone. 39.5 tires are swapped for 37" tires. Stance is better. Truck rides better. Heading in the right direction for sure. Hard doors sure are nice to have when the weather occasionally gets crappy here in AZ. I did 35 miles in the rain and sleet with the tube doors. That sucked.
No. I am selling the tires unmounted. I need the wheels for when I get the 37" tires. I would trade my tires/wheels as a set for a 37" tire/wheel combo as long as the wheels were comparable beadlocks.
I have 5 tires total. 39.5x13.5x15 radial Iroks. 4 tires in excellent shape - 90% remaining with a few small chunks taken out of outmost lugs. 1 tire brand new. These are coming off my truck as soon as I locate 37" tires to replace them. I will sell all 5 tires unmounted for $800. Local...

I am swapping my truck to smaller tires. I have 5 tires total. 39.5x13.5R15LT Iroks. These are radials. 4 tires in excellent shape - 90% remaining with some small chunks taken out of outmost lugs. 1 tire brand new. My truck is currently at 4WheelerSupply so all tires can be...
If I dont see you at a meeting or on the trails you can alwys come by and check it out. I live in North Scottsdale up by Dixileta. In the meantime, here are some more pics I took that show the cage. It is welded to the frame front and rear.
I bought a truck this past weekend. I found an 1989 SAS 4Runner that has some good parts and needs only a little work to get correct. It is a rust free AZ native so it will be a joy to work on compared to stuff I used to own back east. I need to address the lift (too high and has rear blocks)...
I picked it up for 6k. I felt it was a pretty good deal. It is home in my garage now but unfortunately I am away on business and I can't wait to get back and get into it.
Thanks for that advice. I will measure the distance from the shackle to the front bracket and compare to what is referenced in the 63" chevy spring swap tech threads. I think the springs are tired and the PO might have been asking too much from them. The 5" lift springs in the front give a...
