Sold! Hi everyone, thanks for the responses- I have a buyer thanks to ih8mud's great community of folks. Sorry for any headaches that my ability to access the site. The old site may have been uglier but it never prevented me from responding to a PM! (Or prevented my uploading a picture...)
We built this HJ61 for Falken Tire's new AT tire ad campaign and bought for the truck some of Dave Gore's amazing 4Plus stuff: a rear bumper and sliders. These are the links to the 4Plus site:

Still cleaning house here- today it's a pre-smog 1973 FJ40. It's been sitting since Nirvana was still around it had and still has some of a 3 speed transmission and an F engine. We aren't warranting that they are anything but firmly attached to the frame and heavy. As for the body the pictures...
I am told that we have pink slips on them and the office is being excavated to find them; they are cheap enough that if we can't dig them up we can title it for you for an extra cost. These are coming from a pile that has been accumulated for many decades by a dedicated LC shop. The pile was not...
As per the earlier posting we are cleaning house. This item is a high roof cut at the base of the pillars so that you can weld it on to your FJ60/62 and gain almost 6" of headroom in the back. So good for a camper interior. It is in good shape, rust free and also free of its sun roof- you'll...
We are clearing the shop of accumulated treasures (?) here in Gardena, CA. This is what we have at the moment:
1969 Land Cruiser rolling chassis- PRE-SMOG! Frame is solid, both axles & differentials good. $1,000.00 OBO
FJ60/ FJ62 frames, 1 each good usable shape, southern CA cars- $250 each...
Rudi, changed the signature to reflect the year of the truck- it looks as if when I set things up I mistook "Personal Details" for the place to add that. I am not always on top of the internet. Thanks!
I like the kicking story Mr. Dogs- I was broken into yesterday in addition to this, the crappers punched the lock on the passenger door. There's a lot of kicking I'd like to do. I'll check that in the morning with some gentle kicking. And failing that I'll see about finding a new regulator...
Update as of this morning- this is the IC regulated 24v alternator and it seems to be putting out only 23.9v at 1800 rpm or so (I don't recall exactly what the RPMs were that's just my sonic recollection, regardless, at that RPM it ought be generating 23-24v.) My guess is that the IC regulator...
Oops, it's an '87 which i think I recall is the internal regulator. Thanks Rudi, I'll check the lot- I'd gone through all those tests (I have a shop manual) back when the alternator was failing years ago. Looks like I'm back at them!

Before I dig in to it I bet there is (as there always is) good advice here. This is what's going on: This afternoon after driving back from the beach I went out for an errand and the battery lamp, the brake lamp and the filter light have all remained on andthe charge needle reeds a hair past 24v...
A thread resurrection to update my thoughts about our Cascadia tent after three+ weeks in it on the Baja peninsula and various other camping trips in CA & NV. First I still love the convenience of having the bed ready in no time and not having it in the cargo area (which gets really dusty after...
I have just returned from three weeks camping along the west coast of Baja Sur. I used the Viair I have mounted in the cargo area to refill- it doesn't take up much space and never runs out of air. I would like to connect my rear bumper (tube steel) as a tank. My goal is always saving space...
I have had a few responses from folks with tires to sell- check out my WTB thread and contact the folks that posted there. We are all destined for 10.5's, at least BFG will continue to make them.
I guess this is old news but I didn't need a couple until now.... Since this tire is gone what are folks using for a tall skinny tire today? I liked the 9.5x33x15 for both its on & off road performance as well as the BFG durability. Do I have to just move to the 10.5?
I guess this is...
