Hi guys I just need to know if any of you out there have a TG twin-stick do you know how to dismantle them? I need to cut and modify my levers, and then have the levers powdercoated.
Cheers, Davo.
Just had a quick look at the dana 300 twin stick, and due to it's uniformity i think this would be the best bet.
Dana 300 twin stick stick shifter
cheers guys ;)
cheers for the lnik.
I guess as long as the boot sealed against the shift sticks pretty well, I could put one of them in the floor pan of the drivers seat.
I am building a 6X6 L/C in Australia, and I need to be able to shift a divorce mounted mini-truck T/C in my driveline. The T/C has trail-gear twins in place, and I am quite happy to drill/tap/modify the sticks.
I was looking at a cable shifting setup like the advanve atlas setup, but I don't...
ahhh crap (can I say crap? I was gonna say s*** but I thought I can't say s***!!) Marlin are fresh out of toybox's for the h41/h42.
and none for along time!!!
So the H41, and H42 are the same g/box, only differing with the first gear ratio's?
And also a, I right if I say that the H41/42 came in fj/hj40 4-speed, with a single piece T/C, all the way through the the mid 1980's fj/hj60 when it came with a splitcase?
Hi guys I have been doing some research and I just want to know what gearbox I would have in my 1982 HJ60,
I believe it would either be the H41 or H42, what is the difference between them??
Cheers,
Davo.
I totally agree about the uncharted territory, and I hope it works out.
I am however concerned about body roll, but time will tell.
I think with a rig weighing 4500 and 1000lbs unsprung the 8 air-shox should easily hold 3500lbs. ;)
I can get airshox for about $350, and coil-overs are about $900, so for starters price of 8 air-shox is $800 cheaper than coil-over. also air-shox lighter weight.
and I need something for the rear of my truggy that will be responsive to light weight, and then the front of the truggy will have 4...
about 4500lbs.
This will be spread over 8 air shox, 4 on the front diff, and 1pr on each rear diff.
The weight of my truck will also hjave a great deal more unsprung, wheels, brakes, 3xdiffs, 1/2 driveshaft weight Than a standard truck, why do you ask?
