Any word on this? Had my stock muffler cut out and a Maxflow muffler put in - too freakin loud. The Borla on my 100 was perfect. Getting close to buying a stock one to put back in or find a shop that can do a Borla.
The only doors that unlock by pulling the handle are the driver door and tailgate. All other doors give 8-10 beeps and don't unlock.
The tough part is trying to figure out which door is having the problem...
2011 200 Series. When using keyless entry, pushing the remote button or pulling a handle, I get 8 to 10 beeps and only the drivers door will unlock. I assume one of the lock actuators is acting up, but can't figure out which one. All the doors will lock when hitting the remote button and door...
Pull the fan and remove the shroud. With the belt still on the nuts holding the fan on should loosen easily.
I promise this will make the job so much faster and significantly easier.
Can be a multitude of things. Get the codes scanned and go from there (least expensive to most)
I had this happen a few weeks ago. Scanned and got a code about throttle position sensor. Unplugged the connection at the gas pedal, cleaned it, plugged it back in - BOOM! Problem solved.
Other...
Getting ready to swap out the idler pulley (2011 200); is it standard (RH) threaded or reverse (LH)? I stripped one out on a older vehicle because it was reverse threaded and don't want to do that again.
TIA
I thought the same as you and almost started the change this weekend. Crawled under the rig and noticed the plug size looked smaller than the diffs did. Did some research and went back through the video and found the part numbers are different. Picked up the correct parts this morning and they...
I believe those are for the Diffs and Transfer case only.
The part numbers for the transmission are:
35178-30010 (2x crush washers for drain and overflow plugs)
90301-15004 (o-ring for fill plug)
Seems like that defeats the purpose of new springs. The larger (taller) spring for the passenger side (US) is designed to compensate for the added weight of the fuel tank, fuel, and associated components. Putting a spacer in may fix your lean, but won't give you the proper spring rate for the...
That looks like surface rust. Nothing that couldn’t be cleaned up and painted. Most of those areas are easy to reach with a brass brush and a spray can if you’re willing to spend a few hours cleaning it up.
The thing that I look for with rust is bolt heads and captured threads. If those are...
They’re great. Did a 4hr hiway/back road trip a week ago and they behave very well. Ride quality is better than the Toyo’s I replaced and the noise is surprisingly low.
