If you don’t have enough space for something like this, you can hide it somewhere behind the dash and extend with this, which is a bit smaller. For example it fits here:
What BT ODB sensor did you get? Asking because I got the ODBLink MX+ and their ODBLink software that is free looks exactly like all the screen shots I have seen of ODB Fusion and their Toyota add-on package was free. Might be an option worth trying…
I have had good luck with one of these rechargeable fans clipped to the grab handle in front of a screened window when sleeping in the car.
Also, tailgate open with some mosquito netting over the opening helps a lot.
I lifted the rear wheels completely off the ground to adjust. My thinking was that the axle would “slide” sideways better without the friction of the tires (though I‘m sure the is enough slop in the sidewall for such small lateral movement even if the treads stayed fixed). I measured whether it...
That is pretty much how I adjusted mine. I lifted the truck before adjusting and set it down before each measurment (straightedge across tire, distance to fender) until it was the same on each side. Not sure the lifting/setting back down was necessary but pretty easy with a lift…
Actually pretty good for a northeast truck. I am surprised it is that bad given how (relatively) good the rest of the frame etc looks. The KDSS valves for example were not bad to loosen.
For anyone who encounters this in the future: the WD-40 ( not normally a fan but easily available) I’ve been spraying on the intermediate shaft u-joint multiple times per day has definitely made a difference. That should get us home where I can replace the intermediate shaft properly.
I welded a little “hook” to mine that grabs under the bottom of the larger receiver structure on the LC200 (no picture handy sorry) but it also fits on sideways and works fine that way (at least for a bike rack)

I’m having a problem with my power steering (I think). I’m on vacation (isn’t that always the way it goes?) so no access to my shop/tools to aid diagnosis. Over the last couple days the steering has become much heavier. It it not a “constant” heaviness, but sort of increases...
I have the same one. I’m curious which VID you use for the gear the transmission is in. I tried a few but none ever changed from 0. TC lockup and temps work fine for me.
I have the Falken Wildpeaks in LT255 /80 R17. I don’t drive it like a sports car so no complaints about the handling on road. They are bit lighter than comparable wider tires, but I doubt it makes much difference. I got them mostly because I love the LT255/85R16 BFG KM2s on my 4Runner. But when...
Yes, they attach with 3M VHB tape. It's not perfect, but pretty unobtrusive. I don't have a better pic right now, but this gives an idea
The rail is a RAM track with ball (got that idea from OregonLC here)
I use the magnetic sticker on the outside of my phone case (wireless charging still...
I don’t think this will work for your 2013, but might help someone with a 2016+. These fit perfectly on each side of the infotainment screen, and hold a tablet or phones very securely.
Very helpful, thanks! That would put the COG right about in line with the front of the front door handle according to my calculations/measurements.
Because of how far forward the rear LCA frame mount is and how long the “rear” arm of my asymmetric lift is, that means the vehicle fits better if...
Does anyone know the center of gravity of a 200 for putting on a lift?
Of course I‘ve given it the old rock test a few inches off the ground, but would like to know the exact front-rear balance point. I will get the ALI lifting guide, but would appreciate any info in the meantime.
Thanks!
You can definitely set it up such that you do not need to open the hood. On my 4Runner I had hose quick connects on the bumper, so I just plugged in my hoses and flipped on the pump. No reason these can't be run to the rear. If you have room for an onboard tank, you could also set it up with a...
